The growth of AI is inevitable. As AI and machine learning develops further, there will be more and more uses for it, and it will make human life much easier. Although this is the case, will it lead to changes in all industries? AI is already becoming more capable and cheaper than humans and hence it is being used in many industries to substitute labour.
Manufacturing industries such as the automotive industry is very likely to change even more than it already has, since it is heavily reliant on moving heavy metals, or making precision parts; all things that a robot is better at than humans. Even in healthcare, AI is being used to diagnose patients, or perform surgeries that require a lot of accuracy and care. Another industry could be agriculture. AI systems are helping to improve the overall harvest quality, since they are able to detect diseases in plants, or even detect weeds that may be affecting their growth.
AI may be good at analysis and executing repetitive tasks, but it still falls behind in some aspects. The service sector is less likely to change drastically in the future, because humans are still much better than machines at processing emotions, or dealing with humans directly. A lawyer is unlikely to be replaced by AI in the near future, as it requires someone to use their emotions and present cases convincingly. Even a therapist cannot be replaced by AI anytime soon as it requires empathy and emotional intelligence.
In conclusion, AI will eventually transform all industries. Although it may not replace humans entirely in the foreseeable future, it will definitely make their jobs easier in some way
