How rapid is the development of AI?

As the society builds up people want to start to become higher. Technology usually answers people's needs, new innovations usually entertain people or make basic work easier for them. AI is one of the inventions that help people with basic needs, but is AI growing too fast for humans or is it growing too slow?

AI( Artificial Intelligence) is where intelligence is displayed by machines rather than humans or animals. Some examples of AI may include self-driving cars(Tesla), manufacturing robots, smart assistants, etc. These all are extra accessories to make our lives easier, for example a Tesla is just a want. You don’t require a Tesla to go from one destination to another, you can use a much cheaper alternative as well. AI also provides needs for the disabled, for example Huawei used AI and augmented reality to create an app called StorySign that helps deaf children learn to read by translating the text into sign language. This form of AI is a very important need because it helps educate ones with disabilities. AI has had a significant growth over the years, in 2020 the global AI software market has grown 54% year on year reaching a size of 22.6 billions dollars. AI has been rapidly increasing. This is very good for human civilization. It can help cure diseases that still don't have solutions to many global problems like poverty and wastage of food. They could all be reduced by AI, but if AI is used for wrong needs, AI could destroy human civilization.

Overall AI has massive benefits. It should be used to help civilization and meet human wants and needs, but AI should never be used to replace humans.
